The Death of Reason in America

It has occured to me that most people no longer possess that commodity that we call "common sense". For example we have a president that thinks the way to get out of an economic malaise is to tax the people that create jobs a higher level while getting out the government credit card and spending money like a 18 year old college freshmen on spring break. Where in the world does that make any sense. Yet most people think it is perfectly OK.

If you have ever served on a jury, then you know that the most important instruction is that you must make your decisions based on the facts in the case. You must not allow, race, sexual orientation, the social status or political power, of the defendant to be considered. This is called Blind Justice. Yet here we have a president that has chosen an appointee to the highest court in the land who not only belongs to a brown supremacy group call La Raza (The Race) but who has stated on more than one occasion that she would make better decisions than a white male because of her "brownness". Has reasoned thinking disappeared from the earth? I say yes.

The reason why the bible is so timeless is that it is the "owners manual" for a human being. It describes in detail the condition of man, and demonstrates by circumstance his every frailty and failing. I tell you with great certainty, If you read the bible through every year, you will not believe the lie because you will know the truth. It is not the truth that sets you free. It is KNOWING the truth that sets you free.
